Aimee's Story
I am currently living in Las Vegas with my husband and two boys. Austin 7 and Peyton 5 years. After high school, I attended CSU, earning a degree in Exercise & Sport Science with a concentration in Physical Education and a minor in Anatomy & Neurobiology. I moved to Lake Havasu, Arizona to teach Elementary Physical Education and spend time traveling to visit family and friends in Arizona and California. After 2 years, I moved back to Ft. Collins for a year while I took the prerequisite classes for Graduate school and waited tables at CB & Potts. I attended Loma Linda University where I graduated with a Masters Degree in Public Health Nutrition and Exercise Physiology. I moved to Portland, Oregon for 6 months to finish my internship. Dietitian. I spent 10 years working as a WIC Program Coordinator and Educator. I am now a stay-at-home mom taking care of my boys and drivng them to all their activities.
My free time is spent with my two boys and my husband. I am spending more time driving them around to swimming, gymboree, and various classes and spend tons of time working on bike/scooter/whatever new mode of transportation the boys decide to learn at the time. And Baseball, baseball and more baseball.
My children enjoy spending time in Ft. Collins at Grandma & Grandpa's and all the fun things to do--especially visiting "Fireman Bryan"!
Planning special trips is our next adventure and I can't wait to see how they do. My 7 year old can't wait to "swim with the dolphins". They have high aspirations.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel a lot and add on a n extra room or two. My dream home would be in another state.
